Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain Sanju Samson showed that he was a man of his words after presenting young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal with a new bat, after he had promised to do so in a video posted by RR on their social media accounts.

The RR are placed 3^rd on the points table with 7 wins from 11 matches and in their last match, young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal starred with 68 off just 41 balls playing a huge role in Rajasthan Royals chasing down a 190-run total set by Punjab Kings (PBKS).

After the game, RR skipper Sanju Samson was really impressed with Jaiswal and the work he put in the nets to make a comeback that promised him a new bat.

In a video shared by RR, Samson was seen promising Jaiswal a new bat, as a gift from his chetta (brother in Malayalam) while saying that the left-hander will have a new bat in his room by the next morning.

And on the morning of RR’s match against Delhi Capitals (DC), RR shared a photo of Samson gifting Jaiswal a new bat with a message saying "Lots of love to my brother, Jaiswal."
