Dinesh Karthik was the toast of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) innings in their latest win over the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and when he returned back to the dressing room, having helped his team reach 192/3, received a warm welcome from former captain Virat Kohli, which is going viral.
When the two teams clashed on Sunday at the Wankhede Stadium, Faf du Plessis won the toss and chose to bat first. He led from the front, scoring 73* in 50 balls, while Glenn Maxwell made 33 quick runs. Virat Kohli failed to yet again get going and made his third golden duck in the IPL 2022.
When RCB were looking like getting to a competitive total of 170 and there so, enter Dinesh Karthik. He slammed 4 sixes and 1 four in his 8-ball knock and remained unbeaten on 30 as RCB out on 192 runs on the board.
When Karthik returned to the dressing room, Virat Kohli welcomed him and took a bow for the keeper-batter’s finishing exploits. This gesture of Kohli has gone viral of social media.
