The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 is about to reach its business end and the tournament so far has been a host to many enthralling and exciting contests.
The teams are leaving no stone unturned and are putting in hard efforts to seal their spots in the playoffs. New teams Gujarat Titans (GT) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have left their mark straightaway by putting in dominant performances and are favourites to qualify.
On the other hand, heavyweights Chennai Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) have struggled to get going and are reeling at 9th and 10th position on the points table.

While the players on the field have given some memorable performances, commentators are also making sure that they entertain fans and keep the excitement going.
In Match 48 of the IPL between GT and PBKS, when the broadcaster showed the list of the most sixes in the season, Kevin Pietersen asked his fellow commentator Graeme Smith jokingly if he had ever hit a six?
Smith, who played for Rajasthan Royals in 2008, at first ignored him and talked about the match situation before hitting back at Pietersen, who had never won IPL title in his career. The former South African skipper hilariously asked the Englishman had ever won the title.
