India and Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Rohit Sharma is celebrating his 35th birthday today (30th April). The right-hander was showered with loads of wishes from many fans and pundits across the globe.
Rohit’s wife Ritika Sajdeh also didn’t shy away from expressing love and good wishes for her husband. Taking to her official Instagram account, she posted pictures with MI skipper in which the couple along with their daughter can be seen having loveable moments.
“Happiest birthday Room. Sammy and I love you so much. Thank you for being ours. Hakuna Matata,” Ritika captioned the pictures.

Mumbai Indians also celebrated Rohit’s birthday in their hotel. The franchise posted a video on their Instagram account and gave fans glimpses of their skipper’s birthday celebration.
In the video, Rohit can be seen cutting the cake with his wife Ritika actively involved with him. His MI teammates also were part of the celebrations.

Coming to his performance, Rohit is not having the best of time both as a skipper and as a batter in the ongoing IPL 15. Under him, Mumbai Indians have lost eight out of their eight matches and are placed last on the points table. With the bat, he has so far only scored 153 runs at an average and strike rate of just 19.13 and 126.44 respectively.
He will be seen in action on Saturday (30th April) when Mumbai Indians will take on Rajasthan Royals at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. The MI skipper would be hoping his birthday to change his fortune and win their first match of the season.
