Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) speedster Umran Malik is having a great time in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). He has managed to caught everyone’s attention with his sheer pace and bounce.

Some of the top batters in the IPL 2022 have found it difficult to cope with his searing pace. On Wednesday (April 27), Gujarat Titans (GT) opener Shubman Gill was at the receiving end of Umran’s fast bowling.

During the 8th over of GT’s innings, Umran Malik and knocked over Gill with a ball clocking 144.2 kmph. It was a full delivery and Shubman was looking to play a cut shot by moving away. However, he missed it altogether and his off-stump was rattled.

With this wicket, Umran broke the opening stand of 69 runs between Gill (22) and Wriddhiman Saha.

In his next over, Umran Malik dismissed Hardik Pandya with a pacy short delivery to reduce GT to 85/2 while defending SRH’s total of 195/6.
