Gujarat Titans (GT) wrist-spinner Rashid Khan named the three players who would form his “dream hat-trick.” He also revealed the three batters he has found difficult to bowl to.
Rashid is currently considered as one of the best spinners in white-ball cricket, if not the best. The wrist-spinner has troubled many seasoned batters with his skill set. He’s currently playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 for Gujarat Titans.
The Afghanistan spinner recently completed the milestone of 100 IPL wickets in GT’s encounter against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Saturday (23rd April) by removing Venkatesh Iyer.

Rashid is having a decent IPL 15 campaign. The 23-year-old has taken 8 wickets from 7 matches so far at an average, economy and strike rate of 22.75, 6.50 and 21 respectively. Apart from his bowling, he displayed a staggering show of batting in GT’s match against Chennai Super Kings.
He scored 40 off 21 deliveries in the 170-run chase and helped his side win the match after a sloppy start. Notably, he also captained the side in that match in absence of Hardik Pandya.
Speaking in an interview on YouTube channel 12th Khiladi, Rashid Khan named Virat Kohli, Babar Azam and Kane Williamson as the three batters who would be in his dream hat-trick. “Virat (Kohli), Babar Azam, Kane Williamson.”
Rashid also named the toughest batters he has bowled to so far. “Chris Gayle, Andre Russell, Hardik Pandya,” he said.
Rashid will be next seen in action when GT will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Wednesday (27th April) at Wankhede Stadium.
