IPL 2022: Tymal Mills deletes his tweet of being fit amidst rumors of MI bringing in Dhawal Kulkarni

MI has lost all of their six matches in the ongoing IPL 2022.

Tymal Mills | BCCI-IPLEngland bowler Tymal Mills chided a Twitter user over his post saying that he was injured and will miss the remainder of the IPL 2022, however, deleted his tweet as rumors are circulating of pacer Dhawal Kulkarni joining the Mumbai Indians (MI) squad.

MI’s IPL 2022 campaign in rubbles as they have lost of their six games thus far and much blame is being put on their horrible bowling lineup. Jasprit Bumrah has been blowing hot and cold, while he struggles to find support from the likes of Tymal Mills, Daniel Sams, Jaydev Unadkat, Basil Thampi, and others.

Even M Ashwin, who has played all matches as their leading spinner, has failed to make an impact, with many fans and experts questioning the five-time champions’ strategy during the IPL 2022 mega auction.   

On Wednesday, reports surfaced that Tymal Mills had picked up an injury and is likely to miss the remaining portion of the ongoing IPL 2022.

Later, in a tweet, Mills had mentioned that he is 'absolutely fine' and that there is no credibility in such reports, even asking the user whose tweet he quoted, to delete his misinformative post.

"I have no idea who you are or where you got this information from, but you are wrong. I am perfectly fine. Please remove this post," Mills had tweeted to an account reporting his injury. However, Mills deleted his tweet making things murkier.

Tymal Mills deleted his tweetMills has played five matches this year and picked up six wickets, but has gone wicketless in the last two games and bled 54 runs against the Lucknow Super Giants. Meanwhile, Dhawal Kulkarni, who is currently on the Star Sports Hindi commentary panel, made things intriguing with his response to rumors of him joining the five-time champions.

Kulkarni ahs good record in the IPL, picking 88 wickets in 92 matches and was part of the franchise in IPL 2021. He was also one of the contenders along with Ishant Sharma to have been potentially considered to replace Deepak Chahar at Chennai Super Kings (CSK), after Chahar was ruled out of the IPL 2022 due to his back injury.
