IPL 2022: 'Trying everything to be a part of the Indian team'- Dinesh Karthik

Veteran Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik is currently in excellent form in the ongoing IPL 2022. In the 27th match of the ongoing IPL 2022, Karthik scored an unbeaten knock of 66 to help Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) beat Delhi Capitals (DC) by 16 runs on April 16.

He has contributed significantly to the Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) four wins so far in the ongoing IPL 2022. The wicketkeeper has so far scored 197 runs in his six outings in the tournament.

Reacting to his stunning form in the ongoing IPL 2022, the seasoned wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh said that he has been "trying everything" to stage a comeback to the Indian cricket team.

Karthik said at the post-match presentation ceremony: “I must admit that I have a bigger goal. I have been working really hard. My aim is to do something special for the country. This is part of my journey. I have been trying everything to be a part of the Indian team.”

He signed off by saying, “Feels good to know that people associate calmness with me. Positions and calmness come from preparation. Shahbaz (with who he has added 74 runs) is a special player, he will do special things as a player. He is up for a challenge. He can hit the ball a long way.”
