Virat Kohli might not have performed with the bat against Delhi Capitals (DC) but he took an extremely difficult catch to tilt the match in RCB’s favour at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Saturday (April 16).

Chasing 190 to win, the Capitals needed 48 off 22 balls with skipper Rishabh Pant still in the middle. However, Kohli took a one-handed blinder in the 17th over to cut short Pant’s innings on 34 off 17 balls.

Pant lost his shape while attempting a shot over cover off Mohammed Siraj. Initially, it seemed that the ball will go over Kohli’s head but the former RCB skipper leaped up and plucked one out of thin air with his right hand.

With Pant’s wicket, RCB reduced DC to 142/6 and almost sealed the deal. The Faf du Plessis-led side has already won three of their five games in the season before this match.
