SRH is coming off two consecutive wins, while KKR lost to DC in their last match.

SRH is coming off two consecutive wins, while KKR lost to DC in their last match | BCCI-IPLThe 25th match of the IPL 2022 will see the exciting encounter between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on April 15, 2022. SRH have found some momentum with two wins in two matches, while KKR is coming off a loss by decent margin against Delhi Capitals (DC).

Both the teams have injury issues and some of their players are battling with form as well and need to be wise in picking their playing XIs. A lot depends on both teams when it comes to the points table as 2 points for SRH will do them a lot of good, while a loss here can halt KKR’s rhythm in the tournament.

Keeping this in mind, here is the COC Predicted Playing XIs for the SRH v KKR match of the IPL 2022.

SUNRISERS HYDERABAD

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have finally found some momentum in the tournament with two back-to-back wins over the Chennai Super Kings and the Gujarat Titans. Kane Williamson and Abhishek Sharma have found some good form, while Rahul Tripathi has helped keep the rhythm from the openers going on.

Though he had to retire hurt due to cramps in the last game, he is expected to play in this match. Nicholas Pooran has found his hitting form as well, as he finished the game against GT last time, while Aiden Markram would hope for some more batting time in the middle.

IPL 2022: Washington Sundar likely to miss SRH's next two games due to hand injury

A change is expected to be made as Washington Sundar split the webbing in his bowling hand and will miss a couple of matches, this means either Abdul Samad or J Suchith might be included in case of a like to like a replacement, while a pure spinner like Shreyas Gopal may get a chance.

The rest of the bowling department with Marco Jansen, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, and Umran Malik have been at the top of their game, with Malik impressing with his speed.

KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS

KKR have injury worries of their own after Venkatesh Iyer hurt his knee in the last match against DC trying to stop a six and looked in a lot of pain. This might help Ajinkya Rahane though, as his stay as an opener might get extended for one more game.

Now KKR has the chance to bring in Rinku Singh or Sheldon Jackson in the middle order and make either Sunil Narine or Nitish Rana open the innings. Given the need for quick runs at the top and Rahane expected to open, Narine at the top makes more sense.

Deepak Chahar ruled out of cricket for four months, set to miss T20 World Cup 2022- Report

Shreyas Iyer has been in good form, though a big knock from him will lift both his and the team’s spirits. Sam Billings too needs a good knock under his belt to continue to justify his place in the XI, or else KKR might replace him with Aaron Finch.

Andre Russell and Pat Cummins have done excellently well with both the bat and the ball, but as always, more is expected out of the two exceptional cricketers.

Umesh Yadav and Varun Chakravarthy have been the key to KKR bowling with Sunil Narine choking the runs in middle overs. Shivam Mavi could earn a recall for this game in place of Rasikh Salam.

SRH COC Predicted Playing XI:

Kane Williamson (C), Abhishek Sharma, Rahul Tripathi, Nicholas Pooran (WK), Aiden Markram, Shashank Singh, Abdul Samad, Marco Jansen, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, Umran Malik

KKR COC Predicted Playing XI:
