South Africa U-19 star Dewald Brevis on Wednesday (April 13) showed why he is touted as the future batting superstar.
Playing for Mumbai Indians (MI), Brevis gave a glimpse of his extraordinary talent as he smashed Punjab Kings (PBKS) spinner Rahul Chahar for four consecutive sixes.
Fondly know as ‘Baby AB’ for his AB de Villiers-like batting style, Brevis took Chahar to the cleaners in the 9th over of MI’s chase.
The first six was launched over long-on followed by the one over deep mid-wicket. The third six was a pull shot over deep mid-wicket while the fourth one was a slog sweep in the same region.

Two overs later, Odean Smith dismissed Dewald Brevis but not before the 18-year-old slammed 49 off 25 balls with 4 fours and 5 sixes.
For his whirlwind knock, Brevis also garnered rich praise from the cricket fraternity on Twitter.
