Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) faced each other in the 22nd match of the ongoing IPL 2022 at DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai, where fans got to watch an intense battle between the players of both sides on April 12.

Batting first, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batters Robin Uthappa and Shivam Dubey smashed the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) bowlers all over the stadium to post 216/4 runs on the board in 20 overs.

Chasing the total, Maxwell was looking threatening for CSK, as the ace all-rounder smashed 21 runs off 8 balls in the powerplay. Then, Maxwell started Jadeja's over with a boundary and CSK needed to get rid of the Australian star, and the CSK skipper did the same.

In the 7th over of the RCB’s innings, the CSK captain bowled an arm-ball at 96 kph that didn't spin and went straight to hit Maxwell's off-stump and the RCB all-rounder returned to the pavilion after scoring 26 runs off 11 balls.

After snaring the dangerous batter, Jadeja brought out a new celebration, as he did a firing gun gesture, the video of which went viral on social media and even the official Twitter handle of the IPL shared the clip.

Notably, Jadeja has dismissed Maxwell six times in nine innings so far in the IPL. The 22nd match of the IPL 2022 was won by CSK by 23 runs against CSK, as Jadeja recorded his first win as captain.
