Former CSK skipper MS Dhoni on Wednesday (April 13) once again gave a glimpse of his smart cricketing brain as he plotted veteran RCB batter Virat Kohli’s dismissal in Match 22 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 on Tuesday (April 13).
In a video doing rounds on Twitter, Dhoni is seen shrewdly planning his ex-India teammate Virat Kohli's dismissal and how it was implemented to perfection.
When Kohli arrived in the middle during the powerplay, CSK didn't have a fielder at deep square-leg, which is one of favourite scoring areas of the former RCB skipper.
The moment Kohli came to strike, Dhoni changed the field and brought a player at deep square-leg. The ploy did wonders as left-arm pacer Mukesh Choudhary bowled a short-pitched delivery and Kohli hit the ball straight to Shivam Dube, who was stationed at deep square-leg.

Coming to the match, CSK rode on Shivam Dube’s 46-ball 95* and Robin Uthappa’s 50-ball 88 to pile up a mammoth 216/4 in their 20 overs.
With the ball, the defending champions restricted RCB to 193/9, securing a comprehensive 23-run victory. Maheesh Theekshana (4-33) and skipper Ravindra Jadeja (3-39) starred with the ball for CSK, sharing seven wickets between them.
