Umran Malik has impressed one and all with his ability to bowl at extreme pace | IPL-BCCIFormer India opener Wasim Jaffer was once again taking a funny dig at former England cricketer Michael Vaughan after he praised young Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) pacer Umran Malik who hails from Jammu and Kashmir and said that he should play in county cricket to better himself.

Malik has impressed one and all with his ability to regularly touch speeds of over 150 kph and he has already clocked 153 kph multiple times on the speed gun in the ongoing IPL 2022. Malik was retained by the SRH franchise ahead of the IPL 2022 auction along with Abdul Samad and Kane Williamson.

He has attracted the attention of everyone with his pace and former England captain Michael Vaughan has made a huge remark saying that he will play for India very soon. He further mentioned that if BCCI were really interested in his betterment, Malik should be sent to county cricket to develop fully into a complete fast bowler.

IPL 2022: Washington Sundar likely to miss SRH's next two games due to hand injury

"Umran Malik will play for India very soon...If I was the @BCCI I would be sending him to play some County cricket this summer to help him develop first though," Vaughan tweeted.

However, his arch-rival on social media, Wasim Jaffer was quick to retort in his own funny way and posted a clip of former England captain Alastair Cook bowling with a funny action in a county match recently with the caption reading, “Meanwhile County cricket this summer”, taking a dig at the current way the county cricket is being played.
