Chennai Super Kings are coming into this match looking for their first win of the tournament, having lost all four of their previous matches. RCB, on the other hand, sits pretty at the third spot in the IPL 2022 points table with 3 wins from their four matches and have found the best playing XI possible for them with the inclusion of Glenn Maxwell.

Here is the COC Predicted Playing XI for the CSK v RCB clash of the IPL 2022.

CHENNAI SUPER KINGS

The Chennai Super Kings have nothing much to tweak about when it comes to their playing XI. However, they have been hampered by the inability of opener Ruturaj Gaikwad not to get the kind of flying starts CSK has been used to when Faf du Plessis used to partner with him and cover for him.

CSK have a lot to think about going forward in the tournament | BCCI-IPLThough Robin Uthappa is doing the best he can at the other end, Gaikwad needs to find his form quickly. Ambati Rayudu, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, and MS Dhoni need to bolster their batting rate in the middle overs as they are scoring only at a run rate of just over seven in the middle overs just better than bottom-ranked Mumbai Indians.

With this being an evening match, Maheesh Theekshana might make way for Dwaine Pretorius as the dew would make it difficult for him to bowl his mystery variations.

The remainder of the bowling unit is expected to be the same with Dwayne Bravo, Chris Jordan, and Mukesh Choudhary doing the fast-bowling duties.

ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE

The RCB has become like a well-oiled machine with Faf du Plessis leading them nicely. He will be facing off against his former franchise for whom he played for a decade. The RCB has been bolstered with Anuj Rawat finding his form and Virat Kohli just shy of that one big inning and the addition of Glenn Maxwell to the mix has just completed the RCB batting fully.

Dinesh Karthik has been at his finishing best with Shahbaz Ahmed showing his all-around abilities to the full. However, they will be missing Harshal Patel for this game as he has left the IPL bio-bubble to be with his family after his sister passed away.

Wanindu Hasaranga | BCCI-IPLThis means Siddharth Kaul might get a game in his absence. David Willey, Akash Deep, and Mohammed Siraj have done a good job with the new ball, but with Josh Hazlewood back, it's likely that Willey will make way. Wanindu Hasaranga has been a revelation in the middle overs, getting RCB some quick and much-needed wickets.

This encounter has the potential of being a blockbuster one and a match that is a must-watch.
