The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will clash with Gujarat Titans (GT) in the 21st match of the IPL 2022 on April 11, at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. SRH had registered their maiden win in this tournament over CSK in their last game, while GT is unbeaten in the 3 matches played thus far.

Both the teams have found a settled playing combination after trial and error, but there is still scope for improvement as SRH will be looking to strengthen their bowling department, while GT has managed to remain unbeaten despite tinkering with their playing XI.

Despite all this, there is still some leeway to make the playing combination better, and do check out the COC predicted playing XI for the SRH v GT match in IPL 2022.

SUNRISERS HYDERABAD

SRH team finally got onto the IPL 2022 points table after they defeated the Chennai Super Kings in their last match. Abhishek Sharma scored a brilliant half-century, while Rahul Tripathi and the bowlers came good.

While Kane Williamson was tactically brilliant, he would love Nicholas Pooran and Aiden Markram to have some more game time in the middle. Washington Sundar has been amazing in the powerplay overs, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar has shown why he is considered to be one of the best in the T20s.

However, one place where SRH can improve is with Umran Malik. Though he is hitting impressive speeds his bowling has been wayward. They can do two things here, bring in leg-spinner Shreyas Gopal in for Malik, or replace him with Kartik Tyagi.

GUJARAT TITANS

Gujarat Titans got out of the jail against Punjab Kings thanks to Rahul Tewatia’s brilliance with the bat. Shubman Gill has been in terrific form and richly deserved a century against PBKS.

They can swap Matthew Wade for Rahmanullah Gurbaz as the wicketkeeper-opener, given that the Australian has not done much with the bat till now. B Sai Sudharshan was impressive in the glimpse he gave of his talent.

The trio of Hardik Pandya, David Miller, and Rahul Tewatia are enough to bolster any total to an imposing one or as seen against PBKS, chase down any total from any position. Abhinav Manohar would expect some more game time in the middle unless he is expected to play the finisher’s role.

IPL 2022: ‘Enjoying captaincy’, GT skipper Hardik Pandya always wanted to have responsibility as cricketer

Darshan Nalkande had an impressive debut and supported the experienced duo of Mohammad Shami and Lockie Ferguson well, who have been the best opening bowling pair this season. Rashid Khan has been excellent with the ball in the middle overs and GT will be looking to continue their winning ways against SRH, who want to keep winning.
