Mumbai Indians (MI) owner Nita Ambani shared an encouraging message for the team after they suffered their fourth straight loss in the ongoing IPL 2022.

Mumbai Indians are certainly not having the best of times in the ongoing IPL 15. The Rohit Sharma-led side has lost all the four matches they have played so far and is placed 9th on the points table.

However, one cannot write them off this early in the tournament as history suggests that have pulled off some miraculous performances despite losing their initial matches in the league. In IPL 2014, they lost their first five games and went on to qualify for the playoffs.

They had a similar start in the IPL 2015 as they lost their first four games and then went on to lift the trophy by beating Chennai Super Kings in the final. So far in IPL 2022, they have lost against DC, RR, KKR and RCB.

They are next slated to play PBKS on Wednesday (April 13) at the MCA Stadium in Pune and would be eager to register their first two points of the season.

Speaking in a video posted on Mumbai Indians’ Instagram account, Nita Ambani said that she has full faith and belief in all the players and they need to believe in themselves that they’ll ‘conquer’ this tough phase.

"I have full faith and belief in all of you all and I'm sure we'll pull through. Now, we're only going to be onwards and upwards. We need to believe in ourselves that we're going to conquer this," Nita Ambani said.

Offering strong words of encouragement, Ms Ambani said she has "full trust and belief" that the team will "conquer" this low phase. She also assured the players of unhindered backing from the franchise.

"We've been through this many times before, and then gone ahead and won the cup. So, I have full trust and belief that you stick to each other. If you're by each other, we'll conquer this. And I will meet you on the other side.

"Till then, my full support to you all in whatever you want. Please keep faith in each other, keep faith in yourself, and keep believing. And Mumbai Indians are always there to support you," she said.
