Wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav is having a great time in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Delhi Capitals (DC).

On Sunday (April 10), Kuldeep starred in DC’s resounding 44-run victory over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The chinaman bowler returned with the figures of 4 for 35 in his four overs.

Shreyas Iyer, Pat Cummins, Sunil Narine, and Umesh Yadav were his victims in the match. However, it was the wicket of Umesh that caught everyone’s attention as Kuldeep pulled off a stunning catch of his own bowling in the 16th over to dismiss the former.

Umesh attempted a slog sweep but mistimed the shot. The ball went high into the sky, ballooning away towards the mid-on region. Kuldeep and DC skipper Rishabh Pant ran towards the ball but the spinner made a loud call before putting in a well-stretched dive to complete a speculator grab.

With this Player-of-the-Match performance, Kuldeep Yadav now has 10 wickets to his name in the IPL 2022 season. He had registered bowling figures of 3/18, 1/32, and 2/31 in DC’s first three outings against MI, GT, and LSG respectively.
