Virat Kohli has not had the greatest of starts to his IPL 2022 season for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). He is not under the pressure of captaincy, after relinquishing the position after the IPL 2021 edition and Faf du Plessis being named the skipper for this season.

However, despite getting starts in two of the three matches RCB has played this season, Kohli has not been able to take advantage of them. He has made just 58 runs in 3 matches for RCB. Kohli played a sublime unbeaten knock of 41 in 29 balls but only got 12 runs against KKR. In the clash against RR, he was run-out while batting at just 5 runs at the Wankhede Stadium.

Now as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) prepare to face Mumbai Indians (MI) on April 9 in the IPL 2022, Kohli has the chance to get back into peak form, given that MI has lost all their three matches thus far and their bowling attack has emerged as a visible weakness.

On the eve of the match, Kohli was seen preparing intently in the nets and got irritated after he was bowled by a leg-spinner trying to cut the delivery. In a viral video, he can be seen taking his anger out on the stumps and almost breaking them.
