Dwaine Pretorius, who was purchased in the mega IPL auction by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for INR 50 lakhs, is off to a good start in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season. The pacer is in his first IPL season and has played in two games for CSK so far. The South African all-rounder also has his family by his side, as he took his son to a recent training session, who became the centre of attention of everyone.
CSK posted highlights from Pretorius' son's visit to CSK training session and captioned it as, "Simba Hanlu's day out! Super Dad Dwaine and the lil cub bonding at the nets! #WhistlePodu #Yellove"

Pretorius has taken four wickets for CSK while scoring eight runs in two matches.
The defending champions are currently on a losing streak and are yet to win a game in the IPL 2022. They have lost all three matches in a row.
Chennai was defeated by Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 54 runs in their previous match.
CSK were bowled out for 126 in 18 overs while chasing a 181-run target. Shivam Dube's half-century (57 off 30 balls) was unable to propel the franchise to victory.
For PBKS, Liam Livingstone scored 60 runs off 32 balls. Two wickets were also taken by the Englishman when he came on to bowl.
Ravindra Jadeja was appointed as CSK's new captain, after MS Dhoni stood down from the post ahead of the IPL 2022 season.
