IPL 2022: Match 12, SRH v LSG- COC Predicted Playing XIs

LSG has one win from two matches, while SRH lost their only match so far.

LSG has one win from two matches, while SRH lost their only match so far | BCCI-IPLMatch 12 of the ongoing IPL 2022 will see Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) clashing with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the DY Patil Stadium on April 4, 2022. LSG has played two games and won one and lost one game, while SRH has played just one match so far and lost that match.

Both the teams will be looking to win and gain some much-needed momentum, but for SRH it is a matter of pride as well, given their previous performance in IPL 2021 and the fact it seemed like they continued the same way, but with different players.

IPL 2022: Quinton de Kock pleased with LSG's first IPL win

There might be personnel changes for LSG who have some reinforcements coming in and keeping that in mind, check out the COC Predicted Playing XIs for the SRH v LSG match.

SUNRISERS HYDERABAD

Sunrisers Hyderabad had a very poor outing against Rajasthan Royals in their IPL 2022 opener. They were thumped by 61 runs in a pretty one-sided encounter.

Kane Williamson has a lot of work to do and some of it might go into fine-tuning the batting order. While Abhishek Sharma is a talented individual, he seems more burdened with the expectation of going after the runs as an opener.

IPL 2022: 'Early signs of last 2 contenders,' K Srikkanth critical of SRH's team composition

Umran Malik has impressed a lot | BCCI-IPLHe can be tried in the middle order with either Rahul Tripathi or Aiden Markram opening, as they are more suited to the role. Nicholas Pooran needs to take the responsibility of leading the batting in the middle as he has talented batters like Abdul Samad, Washington Sundar, and Romario Shepherd to work with.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T Natarajan are probably one of the best bowling pairs, while Umran Malik has been highly impressed with his pace and even took wickets as well.

LUCKNOW SUPER GIANTS

LSG has a pretty solid batting order with a mix of hitters and even a couple of batters who can play anchor. KL Rahul, Quinton de Kock, Manish Pandey, and Evin Lewis form a pretty decent top four.

Then the big hitters come in form of Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya, and Ayush Badoni, all three of whom showed their batting prowess in the first two matches. Badoni was highly impressive in his outings and showed how good a talent he is.

Jason Holder is available for LSG | InstagramOne major change LSG could make is that Jason Holder is now available for selection and it will be a huge boost to both their batting and bowling with him coming in and might replace Andrew Tye in the XI.

IPL 2022: Chahal, Mishra react to Aakash Chopra’s suggestion of giving an 8 for 100+ meter six

Dushmantha Chameera went for a few runs in the last match, but his pace adds a different dimension when coupled with Avesh Khan, who has done a decent job in the first two matches.

Ravi Bishnoi is now the leader of the spin attack with Krunal Pandya and Deepak Hooda for company. He has been impressive in the first two matches, but the numbers in the wickets column should increase a bit.

SRH COC Predicted Playing XI:

Kane Williamson (C), Abhishek Sharma, Rahul Tripathi, Nicholas Pooran (WK), Aiden Markram, Abdul Samad, Romario Shepherd, Washington Sundar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik, T Natarajan

LSG COC Predicted Playing XI:
