The IPL 2022 will see Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) clashing with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 6th match of the tournament at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

While KKR is coming into the match after a brilliant win over Chennai Super Kings in the tournament opener, RCB is coming into after losing a high-scoring match against PBKS.

Now both the teams will have different motivations for winning their second match respectively in order to gain important points on the IPL 2022 points table. Both RCB and KKR will also be eager to do well in the long tournament.

Keeping this in mind, here is the COC Predicted Playing XIs for the RCB v KKR match.

ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE

The RCB franchise didn’t do too much wrong in their opening match against the Punjab Kings, but the opponents proved to be better on that day. Faf du Plessis played a captain’s knock on his RCB debut and Virat Kohli seemed to be his old self, free from the responsibility of captaining the side.

Dinesh Karthik showed that he has fully grown into his job as a finisher with his impactful ending against PBKS. Anuj Rawat showed a glimpse of what’s in store for us.

Given that it was the first match of a new IPL season, Harsha Patel, Wanindu Hasaranga, and other bowlers seemed a bit off from their game.

But with a loss in their name, RCB will need these world-class bowlers to gain form quickly as they face off against a red hot KKR.

KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS

KKR is coming into this match after defeating the defending champions CSK in the IPL 2022 tournament opener. It was a clinical performance from the Shreyas Iyer-led side, as they didn’t give CSK much chance and only MS Dhoni’s experience was the reason the yellow army could put up a fight.

Meanwhile, there were lots of positives for KKR especially with the experienced Umesh Yadav bowling amazingly well and Andre Russell looking fit enough to bowl all his 4 overs. Apart from Shivam Mavi, all of the KKR bowlers looked in good touch.

Batting-wise KKR was golden as all of their batters looked in good touch, be it Rahane, Venkatesh Iyer, or Nitish Rana. New captain Shreyas Iyer left his mark with both leadership display and batting prowess as well.

This match is expected to be an exciting one given that both teams are eager to gain that early advantage in the long IPL 2022 tournament.
