David Miller-Rahul Tewatia were both part of Rajasthan Royals for their previous IPL season.

On Monday, March 28, IPL's two new franchises, the Gujarat Titans (GT) and the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) made their debut in the IPl 2022. While the KL Rahul-led side appeared to be the better team on paper, the Titans produced some entertaining moments with the bat and the ball to win their debut IPL game.

All of Gujarat Titans' prior players have been linked with one of the seven teams in the IPL, but it's one thing if your players are from the other seven teams, and it's quite another if you were a member of the Rajasthan Royals (RR).

The Rajasthan Royals, who have the most entertaining social media crew, have previously lamented the loss of Chetan Sakariya to Delhi Capitals (DC), so GT decided to have some fun watching David Miller and Rahul Tewatia in the middle.

Miller and Tewatia, who both played for the Royals in the IPL the previous two seasons, put up a match-winning 60-run stand to help the Hardik Pandya-led team win their first game. During the partnership, GT poked fun at RR admin saying, "Vintage Miller & Tewatia. The @rajasthanroyals admin almost tweeted 'Halla Bol'."

To which, the Royals responded by saying, "Pehlo sago paadosi (Neighbours are the first relatives)."

However, the banter didn't stop there as GT further replied with a Taarak Mehta meme, "Je baat! First win ke liye tips chahiye toh bejhijhak puch lena, padosi!" as Royals are yet to play in the 2022 edition of the IPL.

While Miller was gone in the 18th over of the innings after scoring 30, Tewatia stayed undefeated on 40 off 24 as he guided GT to victory with the help of newcomer Abhinav Manohar, who made 15*.
