Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) all-rounders Krunal Pandya and Deepak Hooda hugged each other during the franchise’s IPL 2022 opener against Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Monday (March 28).
The incident happened after Dushmantha Chameera removed opener Shubman Gill in the first over of Titans’ chase. Gill was dismissed courtesy a catch from Hooda and after completing the grab, the latter ran towards Krunal and hugged him.
Notably, Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya were involved in an ugly spat last year during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy after which the former stepped out of the Baroda bio-bubble and he is now part of Rajasthan's domestic cricket team.
Incidentally, both the players were bagged by Lucknow Super Giants at the IPL 2022 mega-auction last month.
