Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will begin their IPL 2022 campaign against Rajasthan Royals on 29th March in Pune. The Kane Williamson-led side is currently practising in Mumbai and is putting in the hard years in their build-up to the tournament.
Ahead of their tournament opener, the ‘Orange Army’ played quite a few intra-squad practice matches. During one of those games on Saturday (26th March) wicketkeeper-batter Nicholas Pooran was seen teasing Priyam Garg hilariously before stumping him out.
Garg went down the track and attempted a big hit. He in the process missed the ball and Pooran, who was behind the stumps, instead of dislodging the bails quickly, teased him. The southpaw was seen playing with the ball and calling the batter back in the crease.

Notably, SRH bought Nicholas Pooran for INR 10.75 crore at IPL 2022 auction. He had a forgettable season last year as he could only manage to score 85 runs in 11 innings at an average of 7.75 for Punjab Kings.
Apart from him, SRH acquired the likes of Aiden Markram, Washington Sundar, Rahul Tripathi, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T Natarajan.
