Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) all-rounder Venkatesh Iyer on Friday (25th March) received a special message from WWE star Seth Rollins ahead of the IPL 2022.
The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is just a few hours away from now. All the franchises have assembled in Mumbai and are putting in the hard yards in their build-up to the tournament.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will play the tournament opener at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on 26th March. The league will be played across four venues in Maharashtra.

Venkatesh Iyer played a crucial role in making KKR finalists of the last season. The all-rounder scored 370 runs in 10 games at 41.11 with four half-centuries and also picked three wickets during the tournament.
In a recent interview, Iyer revealed that he is a huge fan of WWE star Seth Rollins and also loves watching the show. Now with just a day away from KKR’s first game, Rollins shared a special message for his fan Venkatesh Iyer.
Speaking in a video posted on WWE India’s Instagram account, Seth Rollins wished Venkatesh Iyer luck for his IPL 2022 campaign.
“Venkatesh...my man. It is I, the visionary, the revolutionary, Seth 'Freakin' Rollins. And I am so, no surprises here, that you are a huge fan of mine. My friend, that feels so good. But you got Indian Premier League ahead of you. So you need my blessing to go and grab that cup. So prepare yourself to be blessed by the visionary and go on and burn it down," Seth Rollins said.
