The IPL 2022 season is all set to get underway on March 26.

IPL 2022 will be played from March 26 to May 29 | BCCI/IPLThe Indian Premier League (IPL) is widely deemed as the most popular cricket tournament across the globe, and this year the craze of the cash-rich event will go to a different level with the addition of two new teams in Gujarat Titans (GT) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

While all the sides are studded with star cricketers from different parts of the world, the franchises have also suffered setbacks with players pulling out, sustaining injuries, and set to miss games due to national commitments.

Chennai Super Kings

The defending champions will miss Deepak Chahar’s services for the large chunk of IPL 2022 as the pace spearhead is recovering from a quadriceps injury.

All-rounder Moeen Ali won’t be available for CSK’s first match in the tournament opener against KKR on March 26. The England cricketer arrived in Mumbai on the morning of March 24 and will need to serve a mandatory three-day quarantine before joining the squad.
