Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) all-rounder Washington Sundar came up with a hilarious reply when he was asked by pacer T Natarajan if he misses his old franchise Royal Challengers Banglore (RCB). 

Sundar played a pivotal role for RCB during his stint with the franchise from 2018 to 2021. The all-rounder many times chipped in with both bat and ball and turned the match in his side’s favour. 

Overall in 42 matches in the league, he has scored 217 runs at a strike rate of 111.3. He also has picked up 27 wickets at an economy of 6.93 and an average of 32.1.

In the IPL 2022 auction, Washington Sundar invited a bidding war between as many as fives teams in Lucknow Supergiants, Gujarat Titans, Delhi Capitals, Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad. But in the end, the Kane Williamson-led side shelled out a whopping amount of INR 8.75 crores for the all-rounder. 

With IPL 15 just a few days away from now, Sundar has joined his new franchise SRH and has begun preparations for the league. During the practice session, the all-rounder had an interaction with his Tamil Nadu teammate T Natarajan. 

In a video posted on SRH’s official Twitter handle, the left-arm pacer asked off-spinner "So do you miss RCB, or is this better?” To which, Sundar responded that the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise is better.
