Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni is leaving no stone unturned in his preparations for the upcoming 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022.
Dhoni will be leading the defending champions once again, having led them in all the 12 previous seasons they have been part of in the cash-rich T20 league. The 4-time winners will look at 'Thala' guiding the team in the first season of the 'new era' of the league with two new teams added in Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans.
Post the lPL mega auction in February, the franchise did not waste much time as they organized a training camp in Surat for the players to get into the groove ahead of a long IPL season.

40-year-old Dhoni hasn't had a great time with the bat in the last two seasons, and he will definitely have a point to prove as a batter this season. His glove-work remains as good as ever though.
CSK shared a video clip of Dhoni playing his wide array of shots during an intra-squad match at the camp. They captioned the Instagram post, “Super ???????????? Velli! #WhistlePodu #Yellove”.
CSK will play last year's runners-up Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the opening match of the season on March 26 in Mumbai, with the whole league stage set to be hosted across Maharashtra.
