MS Dhoni is not only the best on the field with the bat or with the gloves, but he is also blessed with a sharp wit, which has presented many of us with unforgettable moments in press conferences and interviews.
The 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 World Cup, and 2013 Champions Trophy-winning Indian captain had retired from international cricket in 2020, but his fan following remains the same even though he only appears in the Indian Premier League (IPL), captaining the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
The CSK are the current IPL champions having won their fourth title in IPL 2021 and will begin the IPL 2022 edition in the first match against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on March 26 in Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
In an event just days before the start of the new season, Dhoni interacted with fans, taking a few 'personal questions' from them. In a video shared by CSK fans' Instagram account, a fan could be heard asking Dhoni a question about his personal life.
Dhoni, who still remains as sharp with his responses as always, gave a brilliant reply to the fan.
The fan asked, “Sir, can I ask a personal question?”
To which MS Dhoni replied: “You can always ask. I can decide whether I want to answer or not.”
The fan then asked, “Everybody knows you are the No. 1 in all fields but what about your home? Who's the No. 1 one there?”
MS Dhoni, known for his sharp wit then answers: “If you look behind, half the people would still be laughing. Everyone knows that in the house, it's the wife who's No.1.”
