IPL 2022: Yuzvendra Chahal logs into RR Twitter account; names himself captain and has some fun

Chahal was bought by RR for INR 6.50 crores in IPL 2022 auction.

India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who was bought by Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the IPL 2022 mega auction for INR 6.50 crores, recently took over the official Twitter account of his new Indian Premier League franchise and declared himself the new captain of the team.

Earlier today, Yuzvendra Chahal sent out a tweet to the Rajasthan Royals admin, informing them that he will hack the account of the Jaipur-based franchise. After getting the password from the CEO of Rajasthan Royals, Jake Lush McCrum, Chahal took over the account.

hahahaha ab aayega maza. Thanks for the password @JakeLushMcCrum,” Chahal tweeted.

He then announced himself as the new RR captain and even received wishes from Sanju Samson, the real RR skipper.

Meet RR new captain @yuzi_chahal,” RR tweeted. “Congrats Yuzi,” Samson replied. To this, the RR account tweeted, “Jealous jealous.”

Meanwhile, Chahal had some fun handling the RR Twitter account as he tweeted, “10000 Retweets and He will open with @josbuttler uncle.”

Apart from this, there were other hilarious tweets posted from the account.
