The new Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Gujarat Titans (GT) will make their debut in the IPL 2022 along with the other new franchise Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). There is much buzz about the Gujarat franchise which will be captained by Hardik Pandya and will have the likes of Rashid Khan and Shubman Gill.

These three players were picked by Gujarat Titans before the IPL 2022 mega auction. The auction saw them buying the likes of Mohammad Shami, Lockie Ferguson, Rahul Tewatia, Wriddhiman Saha, Matthew Wade, and David Miller amongst others.

Jason Roy, who was bought in the IPL 2022 auction pulled out of the tournament and was replaced by Rahmanullah Gurbaz.

Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans unveiled their jersey for their debut IPL season in an event held at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Sunday (March 13). The event was attended by BCCI secretary Jay Shah, GT captain Hardik Pandya, coach Ashish Nehra, director of cricket operations Vikram Solanki, and other officials of the franchise.
