IPL 2022: WATCH - "This is my most favourite RCB jersey, ever," says Virat Kohli

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batter Virat Kohli on Saturday (12th March) reacted after the franchise unveiled their new jersey for the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022). He said that it’s his ‘most favourite’ RCB kit ever. 

The countdown for the IPL 2022 has begun. The 15th edition of the league will begin on 26th March in Maharashtra. The tournament this year will see 10 teams competing with each other, which have been divided into two "virtual" groups of five each. 

All the franchises have started their preparations for the tournament and are leaving no stone unturned in their lead up to the tournament. Coming to the RCB, the Bengaluru based franchise in their Unbox event unveiled their new jersey for the 15th edition of the league.

The franchise opted for a red and dark blue combination with a different texture and pattern. RCB took to their official Twitter account and revealed their jersey for their upcoming season. 

Reacting to it, former skipper Virat Kohli said that he loved the outfit and this is his favourite RCB jersey and he felt something special. 

“I love the design. I love how the dark blue blends into the red and the detailing of the jersey is amazing. I love the new RCB typeface as well and the integration of the RCB lion. 

“The material is so comfortable I absolutely love it and the moment I wore it, I felt something special. I can definitely say, this is my most favourite RCB jersey, ever!” Virat Kohli said in a video posted on RCB's Twitter acoount.

RCB, who also named Faf du Plessis as their skipper are placed with Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Punjab Kings (PBKS), and Gujarat Titans (GT) in group B. They will kick start their campaign against the Mayank Agarwal-led Punjab side on 27th March in Mumbai.
