IPL 2022: WATCH - MS Dhoni and Robin Uthappa's stump cam video from CSK's net session

CSK will play the tournament opener against KKR on 26th March in Mumbai.

The countdown for the IPL 2022 has begun. The 15th edition of the league will begin on 26th March in Maharashtra. The tournament this year will see 10 teams competing with each other, which have been divided into two groups of five each. 

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are placed with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Punjab Kings (PBKS) and new team Gujarat Titans in group B. 

The defending champions have already started their preparations for the upcoming league. They are putting in hard yards in their net session and are leaving no stone unturned in their lead up to the tournament.

On Friday (11th March), the franchise posted a video on their official Instagram account. The stump cam video recorded skipper MS Dhoni, Robin Uthappa and C Hari Nishaanth hitting the ball hard in their net session.

Chennai Super Kings will play the tournament opener against Kolkata Knight Riders on 26th March at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. The MS Dhoni-led side bought 21 players in the IPL 2022 auction and spent a total of INR 45.5 crores. 

Some former players that they brought back included Deepak Chahar, KM Asif, Robin Uthappa, Mitchell Santner and N Jagadeesan. The Men in Yellow also roped in fresh faces that included Devon Conway, Chris Jordan, Shivam Dube, Adam Milne and many more.
