West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder has got enough knowledge of India and its culture, having been part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) since 2013. He is currently one of the best all-rounders across all formats in the world and is currently playing against England in a home Test series.
He has represented the likes of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL. The West Indian star will now be seen in action for the new franchise, Lucknow Super Giants, in the upcoming IPL 2022, starting on March 26.
After a bidding war in the IPL 2022 mega auction, the Lucknow Super Giants acquired the services of the 30-year-old for Rs 8.75 crore. Ahead of the IPL 15, Holder has opened up about his love for India and a couple of things about the country that he knows and now likes.
During a recent conversation with FanCode, Holder was asked about his favorite Bollywood actor. The all-rounder was quick to name superstar and iconic actor Shahrukh Khan. Holder said: "Shahrukh Khan because when I played for KKR, he was one of the owners there."
On being asked about his favorite Indian dish, Holder said: "My favorite Indian dish is Hindi."
