Former India pacer Sreesanth went unsold in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) mega-auction. Unlike last year, he was shortlisted for the final list after registering his name in the auction.

However, no franchise bid for the Kerala fast bowler, and his wait to make a comeback into IPL has been extended again. He had a base price of INR 50 lakh in the recently concluded auction.

After going unsold, Sreesanth took to social media on Sunday (February 13) and posted a video singing the Bollywood song "Ruk Jana Nahin."

"Always grateful and always looking forward...lots of love and respect to each and everyone of you. Om Nama Shivaya," he wrote as the caption.

The 39-year-old had made his comeback to competitive cricket in January last year, after serving his seven-year ban for his alleged role in IPL 2013 spot-fixing scandal.

Although Sreesanth won't feature in IPL 2022, he was recently named in the Kerala squad for the upcoming Ranji Trophy season. Kerala will play their first match of the Ranji Trophy season on February 17 against Meghalaya.
