There were some amazing picks in the accelerated phase of the ongoing Indian Premier League- IPL 2022 mega auction. Mumbai Indians (MI) bought Tim David and Jofra Archer, while franchises also managed to get quality players at a cheap price, especially the rising talents.

After a five-minute break in the auction, players like Martin Guptill, Sean Abbott, Pawan Negi, and Ben Cutting were presented to the franchises. Abbott was sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for a price of INR 2.4 crores. 

Delhi Capitals (DC) made the opening bid for the Aussie bowler, and Hyderabad immediately showed interest. Punjab Kings (PBKS) later joined the bidding, but Hyderabad silenced them by extending their bid.

West Indies' Alzarri Joseph went to Gujarat Titans (GT) after they took away the deal from Mumbai, Delhi, and Punjab with an amount of INR 2.4 crore.
