Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag reacted hilariously after Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) bought both Krunal Pandya and Deepak Hooda at the IPL 2022 auction.

Lucknow Supergiants (LSG) had a decent Day 1 of the IPL 2022 mega auction. The KL Rahul-led side bagged some big names in Quinton de Kock, Jason Holder, Mark Wood, Manish Pandey, and Avesh Khan along with pacer Ankit Rajpoot.

However, they surprised and amused many by bagging Deepak Hooda for INR 5.75 crores, earlier they had brought Krunal Pandya for 8.25 crores. The two all-rounders had a spat last year while playing for state team Baroda.

Playing under the captaincy of Krunal Pandya, Deepak Hooda accused the skipper of misbehaving with him and then later changed his state team from Baroda to Rajasthan.

After LSG bought both Hooda and Pandya, social media erupted with many funny reactions. Former Indian skipper Virender Sehwag too joined the fun and reacted hilariously.

"Hooda and Krunal would be a good pair. Divided by Baroda, United by Lucknow," Virender Sehwag Tweeted.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) had named KL Rahul, Marcus Stoinis, and Ravi Bishnoi as they draft picks ahead of the auction. With the addition of eight more players, they have filled eleven slots. They have so far spent INR 52.10 crores and will enter Day 2 of the IPL 2022 auction with a purse of 6.90 crores.
