"Looks like uniform of petrol pump," Twitterati react to SRH's new jersey ahead of the IPL 2022

Sunrisers Hyderabad have already revamped their coaching set-up ahead of IPL 2022 auction.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have unveiled their new team jersey ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 mega auction, which will be held in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13. They took to Twitter on Wednesday (February 9) to reveal the latest team jersey and fans showed a mixed response on it.

The new SRH jersey has orange dots sprinkled on black sleeves, while the neck and collar are of pure black colour. The front of the jersey and the lower gear have a plain orange colour.

“Presenting our new jersey. The #OrangeArmour for the #OrangeArmy ????#ReadyToRise #IPL,” Sunrisers tweeted.

Twitterati reacted to the SRH's change in the kit and some of the fans found it very similar to Big Bash League's team Perth Scorchers. Earlier, SRH had changed its coaching staff. 

Brian Lara is the batting coach and strategic advisor of SRH, along with Dale Steyn being the bowling coach. Hemang Badani has been given a dual role of a fielding coach and a scout in the team.

Simon Katich, who has worked with Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise, has been appointed as an assistant coach of SRH.
