If reports are to be believed, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has allowed the England players to be part of the entire IPL 2022 edition, as opposed to reports stating that some prominent players might miss the start or the later half of the tournament.
On the other hand, Australian players' availability for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 15 is subject to a few conditions, while the Sri Lankans will be away on national duty in Bangladesh in the middle of the season.
"After the IPL, the ECB is committed to starting the 1st WTC Test Match v New Zealand on 2 June 2022. The player availability for all the ECB players will be through to Sunday, 29 May 2022 (sic)," the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has informed the franchises ahead of the mega-auction, on February 12 and 13.

A franchise official revealed to Cricbuzz that they had received an email from the IPL authorities on (February 9) and it says that the English players will be able to take part in the league from March 28 to May 29. The IPL 2022 is expected to commence on March 27.
Meanwhile, reports have stated that Cricket Australia will only let the Australian players join the IPL 2022 after their tour of Pakistan ends. It has also stated that reportedly Australian players-whether contracted or not- will play in IPL 15 only after completing their Sheffield Shield commitments.
"The State players whose team does not qualify for the Sheffield Shield Final will be available from March 27. State player whose team qualifies for the Sheffield Shield Final will be available from 5, April,” the BCCI mail read.
Australia's Test-only players whose state team does not qualify for the Sheffield Shield final will be available from March 26 as the three-Test series between Pakistan and Australia ends on March 25. The players coming from overseas, however, will have to undergo five-day quarantine.

Australian Test-only players whose state team qualifies for the Sheffield Shield Final will not be available till April 5 while Australia's ODI/T20I players will report for the IPL duty only on April 6, after the completion of the white ball games against Pakistan which end on April 5.
The Sri Lankan players will miss the IPL 2022 from May 11 to 23 because of their two-Test away series against Bangladesh.

Similarly, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has informed the BCCI that their star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will miss the IPL from May 8 to 23, because of the Tests against Sri Lanka, but Mustafizur Rahman, who is not part of the Test plans, will be available to fully take part in the IPL 2022.
Out of the 590 players entering the IPL 2022 auction, 220 are overseas players and of them 47 are from Australia, 33 from South Africa, 24 each from England and New Zealand, 23 from Sri Lanka, and five from Bangladesh, among others.
