Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni opened up on the possibility of his participation in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 during fourth title win celebration in Chennai. CSK had defeated Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2021 by 18 runs to win their fourth trophy in the cash-rich league.
When asked about his participation for the next season, Dhoni said there is still a lot of time left to think about it. "We will think about it. There's a lot of time left. Right now we are in November, and IPL starts in April," he said in a clip from the event doing rounds on Twitter.

The CSK skipper was joined by the India Cements' vice-chairman and Managing Director N Srinivasan to celebrate their title win. The celebration is being held at Kalaivanar Arangam in Chennai.
The official Twitter account of CSK shared pictures of Dhoni from the event. He was presented artwork by the fans, as seen in the photos posted on the micro-blogging site.
"Celebrating 75 years of nation building! The Passion of @TheIndiaCements and this bond is always ????," wrote Super Kings.
CSK had failed to make it to the playoffs for the first time in IPL 2020, but Dhoni promised fans to make a strong comeback next season. Keeping the promise, Super Kings defeated Kolkata in the IPL 2021 final to win the trophy.
