Chennai Super Kings (CSK) bowler Shardul Thakur celebrated his 30th birthday on October 16 with his teammates after their fourth IPL title win. CSK defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the final by 27 runs to win the trophy.
As soon as Shardul cut the cake, his teammates started pouring drinks on him from behind. CSK captain MS Dhoni was also spotted in the video and he was singing the birthday song.

Shardul's birthday just got better with CSK's title win and his bowling performance in the IPL 2021 final. He picked up three wickets and gave away 38 runs in four overs. The speedster conceded 17 runs in his last over or the economy could have been even better.
The 30-year-old changed the game for CSK with a couple of wickets in one over. He dismissed in-form Venkatesh Iyer and Nitish Rana in the 11th over of KKR's run-chase. Iyer had scored 32-ball 50 runs, while Rana got out on a golden duck.
Shardul had the best season with the ball as he bagged 21 wickets in 16 matches. He managed to pick up important wickets for his team this season at crucial stages of the match.
