RCB was knocked out of IPL 2021 after losing the Eliminator to KKR.

While fans were dejected after a heartbreaking loss at Sharjah, ace right-hand batter AB de Villiers’ wife Danielle de Villiers’ shared an emotional and cute post on Instagram by sharing a picture of their sons, John Richard and Abraham in RCB’s jersey.

Our little AB, told me tonight to remember that it’s not about winning, it’s about enjoying the game and giving your best. Words he learnt from his father. I guess I couldn’t say it better. I’m a proud wife and a proud mama. What a privilege it’s been to have been with the team for the whole of the 2021 IPL. Memories we will cherish forever,” she wrote as the caption.

While fans instantly filled the comments section with hearts and some really cute messages, the former South Africa cricketer AB de Villiers on the other hand agreed with his son as he wrote, “I’ll rephrase.. it’s not JUST about winning, but ALSO enjoying it and ALWAYS giving your best.
