The Eliminator match of the ongoing IPL 2021 will see the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) taking on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on October 11, 2021, in Sharjah. The winner of this match will face Delhi Capitals (DC) in the second qualifier on Wednesday (Oct 13) in Sharjah itself for a chance to play CSK in the finals.
Both RCB and KKR have had varying degrees of success in the past two seasons of the IPL, with RCB making it into the playoffs for the second straight time, while KKR got rid of their net run rate issue and made it into the playoffs for the first time since IPL 2018.

KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS
KKR were the biggest benefactors of the IPL 2021 moving to the UAE as they not only changed their fortune around but managed to get into the playoffs on basis of a great net run rate, something that was the reason for their elimination from playoffs for the past two seasons.
For KKR the biggest question ahead of the eliminator is the fitness of Andre Russell as they need him now more than ever. A win here will take them straight into the second qualifier match and Russell could play a huge role in that.
