Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) secured a 7-wicket win over Delhi Capitals (DC), thanks to Srikar Bharat's last-ball six. Bharat succeded in hitting the ball over the ropes on the last delivery of the run-chase when 5 runs were needed off 1 delivery.
DC pacer Avesh Khan had done well to give only 9 runs in 5 deliveries, but he ended up bowling a wide and then a full toss which cost Delhi a win. Before the final over, RCB had scored only 4 runs in the penultimate over against Anrich Nortje.

RCB fans felt the in-form Maxwell will seal the match for them as he started the final over with a boundary, but the Aussie lost the strike on the third ball and Bharat had an opportunity to become a hero which he didn't let slip off his hands.
Here is the highlight of the final over:
Bharat scored an unbeaten 78 off 52 balls, along with Maxwell (51* off 33), and they both stitched up a 111-run partnership. RCB were not in a good position to win the match when they lost both the openers, Devdutt Padikkal and captain Virat Kohli, with only six runs on the scoreboard.
Even AB de Villiers was dismissed after scoring only 26 runs. But Bharat and Maxwell ensured RCB a win in their last league stage match of IPL 2021 against the table-toppers Delhi.
