IPL 2021: Cricket fraternity lauds fiery SRH pacer Umran Malik for sending down thunderbolts vs RCB

However, Umran, who made his debut in IPL against KKR, has managed to impress one and all as he clocked 150 kph plus in his first over itself. Though he didn’t pick a single wicket, he gave only 27 runs in his four overs.

Fan and cricket experts were awaiting what the Srinagar lad would have in store for them when SRH faced off Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their next encounter. And Umran didn’t disappoint as he clocked 153 kph in one of his overs which also consisted of deliveries over 151 kph. He also removed KS Bharat to pick his first wicket in IPL.

He is the only Indian pacer to bowl over 150 kph in IPL 2021 so far.

The commentators have compared his bowling run-up and action to Pakistan's great Waqar Younis and the cricket fraternity has also lauded the youngster on Twitter about the speed at which he bowls his thunderbolts.
