Punjab Kings (PBKS) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in a thrilling finish on Saturday (September 25). They won the match by 5 runs after scoring a low total of 125/7 batting first.
Jason Holder, the Player of the Match, was the pick of the bowlers for SRH with 3/19 and he even kept them alive in the chase with his unbeaten 29-ball 47 runs knock, although the result didn't go their way.
Hyderabad were let down by their batting unit once again as Manish Pandey (13 off 23) and Kedar Jadhav (12 off 12) couldn't save them after early blows.
Even opener David Warner and skipper Kane Williamson failed to set the tone for the run-chase. KL Rahul-led Punjab have now jumped to the fifth spot in the points table after the win.

Fans were disappointed with Hyderabad's 8th loss in the tournament in nine matches which has almost ended their hopes to enter playoffs. They are currently at the bottom of the points table.
