The ex-India teammates Sachin Tendulkar and Harbhajan Singh had a long chat after the match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Tuesday (September 23). Harbhajan is a part of the KKR squad, while Sachin is with MI as their team mentor.

The off-spinner reacted to a picture posted by MI's official Twitter account, featuring him and Sachin. Harbhajan wrote that it's always a pleasure to meet the cricket great and he thanked him for the guidance.

"Always a pleasure meeting with u paji @sachin_rt thank you for ur guidance as always," Harbhajan wrote. Sachin responded to his tweet and expressed the delight of catching up with friends.

"Our “FRIENDSHIP” goes a long way back, Bhajji and it’s always great catching up with you! Phone calls pe toh baatein hoti rehti hain, but doston ke sath baithkar gupshup karne ka maza hee kuch aur hai," he replied.

Harbhajan was part of the Mumbai Indians squad from IPL 2008 to 2017. The franchise released him ahead of IPL 2018 and Chennai Super Kings bought him in the auction. He played for CSK in IPL 2018 and 2019 before being roped in by KKR.
