Rajasthan Royals (RR) beat Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 2 runs in a close encounter on Tuesday (September 21). RR pacer Kartik Tyagi defended 4 runs in the last over as he picked up 2 wickets and gave away just 1 run.

Punjab's social media account was very confident of a victory and they had even taken a jibe at RR when they finally caught KL Rahul; having dropped him twice already. "And finally #RR holds onto a catch tonight," wrote PBKS.

RR waited for their victory to come up with a response to the tweet. They dropped a savage reply and wrote that apart from the catch, they also held their nerves in the final over. "Held our nerves too," wrote Royals with a winking emoji.

Punjab would be stunned with another close defeat in the tournament which could harm their chances for playoffs. They have won only three matches out of nine and would need to win all the remaining five matches to stand a chance for the play-offs.
