Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni was seen having a chat with Mumbai Indians (MI) youngster Ishan Kishan after the IPL 2021 match on Sunday (September 19). Even Anukul Roy had joined Kishan to have a chat with Dhoni, and all three of them have a Jharkhand connection.

The official Twitter account of Mumbai Indians posted the video on social media and captioned, “The Jharkhand connection.” Dhoni is often spotted interacting with the youngsters after the match.

While Ishan was part of the playing XI, Roy wasn't picked for the match on Sunday. The 22-year-old has played only one match for Mumbai and he had made his IPL debut in 2019. 

Ishan couldn't make much impact with his batting in the match as he could only score 11 runs. MI were chasing 157 runs to secure their fifth win of the season, but they could only manage 136/8 in 20 overs.

For CSK, it was Ruturaj Gaikwad who stole the show with his outstanding 88* runs knock. They ended up scoring 156/6 after losing 4 wickets for 24 runs in the powerplay.
